Happy F'ing Birthday Cake Topper

Gold glitter and a rude phrase set the tone

Gold glitter makes it hard to miss. The sparkle covers the topper evenly, so it catches light from candles and overhead lamps alike. The message is a blunt, cheeky phrase meant to get a laugh before anyone reaches for a knife. It is a joke piece first, and the glitter keeps that joke visible from across the table.

Because the piece weighs only 0.3 ounces, it rests on frosting without weighing down the top layer. Its light weight also makes it simple to set down and lift off again when the cake is ready to serve. The lettering reads clearly against the frosting, so the phrase doesn't get lost among other decorations.

Gold works as a bright accent on a plain cake. Against white or pastel frosting, the metallic tone stands out and keeps the eye on the message. On a darker cake, the glitter catches the light in a different way, which changes how the piece looks as the room gets dimmer.
