Helmet Grease Water Based Lube

Thick enough to stay where you put it, yet it spreads without pooling. This water-based lube goes on with a cushiony, gel-like slickness that holds up as you work it in with your fingers.

Formula and Texture

The base is water, thickened with hydroxmethylcellulose to give the lube body without a greasy film. Propylene glycol helps keep the texture even from the first drop to the last, and methylparaben is included as a preservative. There are no oils or silicones in the mix, so the glide comes from water and the thickener alone.

Compatibility With Toys and Condoms

Because the base is water, this lube works with silicone, rubber, and latex, and it is also a good match for polyurethane condoms. It will not break down those materials. Water-based lube rinses off with plain water, which is all the cleanup it needs.

Bottle Sizes and What You Get

The formula comes in two sizes. The 8 oz bottle is the larger of the two and holds the most product. The 3.4 oz bottle is smaller and is designed to travel. Both use the same formula, so the choice comes down to how much you want on hand and whether it needs to fit in a bag.
