Product Description

Shuffle the 200 cards, hand out the sticks, and the table fills with arguments before the first round is over. This half-pound set includes a die, twelve "I Love" sticks, and the rules, and it runs entirely on the group's own opinions.

Three Ways to Play the Same Deck

Each round starts with a card naming something to love or hate. In party mode, the others earn points by guessing correctly whether you love it or hate it, so the bluffing matters as much as the honesty. Switch to the drinking game and the rule is simpler: take a drink each time you hate the thing on the card.

The relationship mode is the one that works best with two people. Each time both players love or hate the same thing, each of them earns a point. Most rounds turn up at least one disagreement, and those tend to produce the best conversations.

1,200 Things to Hate in 200 Cards

The 200 cards carry 1,200 things to hate, which is a lot of ground to cover before the same item comes up twice. Topics range from everyday annoyances to deliberately outrageous picks, so the cards keep the table guessing about who will take the bait.

The game is built for groups of 2 to 12 players. Nothing needs to be set up beyond dealing the cards and handing out the sticks, so it can move from a dinner party to a quiet evening with one partner without changing the rules.

A couple can use the relationship mode to see where their tastes line up. A larger group gets more out of party mode, where every guess is a chance to score. Either way, the number of players changes the game more than any other setting.
