Product Description
Two materials make up this pump: a latex-free silicone sleeve that meets the body, and a clear SAN plastic cylinder that lets you watch the pump work. Silicone stays flexible against skin, while the plastic holds its shape and rinses clean. Both choices shape how the pump feels in use and how you look after it.
Silicone Sleeve and Fit
The sleeve opens to 0.8 inches when unstretched, so it has to stretch to fit. Once it settles, the silicone forms an air-tight seal, and the suction holds at the level you set rather than leaking out around the edges.
Inside the cylinder, the inner length is 7.9 inches and the inner diameter is 2.3 inches. That gives the sleeve a full run of clear chamber to move through, and you can see the silicone shift as pressure builds.
| Cylinder total length | 11.7 inches |
|---|---|
| Cylinder inner length | 7.9 inches |
| Cylinder inner diameter | 2.3 inches |
| Cylinder outer diameter | 2.6 inches |
| Silicone sleeve opening | 0.8 inches (unstretched) |
| Hose total length | 8.5 inches |
| Pump dimensions | 8.2 inches long x 2.4 inches wide x 1.4 inches deep |
Pull Rod, Gauge and Cleanup
An ergonomic pull rod draws the air out, and the built-in pressure gauge displays the level as you work. Your hand sets the pace, so the suction builds only as fast as you pull.
When the pressure goes past what you want, the quick-release valve lets it out immediately. The 8.5 inch hose links the pump body to the cylinder, and the cylinder and gauge detach so each piece can be rinsed on its own. Keep the silicone sleeve away from oil-based products, which can break it down.
Nothing in this set runs on a battery or motor, and the pull rod is the only power source, which sets it apart from powered models in the same group.
