Polyurethane Leather Over a Rubberized Ball
The strap work is made from polyurethane-coated split Nubuck leather, a material that gives the gag a smooth, consistent surface in its red and black colorway. The coating sits on top of the leather, so the finish stays uniform from strap to strap. The ball itself is rubberized, and it rests in the mouth with a firm hold rather than a loose one.
Because the coating is not meant for laundering, keep this piece away from the washer, dryer and bleach.
Buckles, D-Rings and Studs on the Headband
A metal buckle closes the headband and lets you set the fit to different head sizes. Metal studs run along the strap, adding reinforcement at the points that take the most strain. The connectors are rubberized, which keeps them flexible where they meet the gag and sit against the face.
