Keeping a Group Laughing Through the Long Middle of the Night

Every group hits a lull after the snacks are gone and the stories have all been told. Potheads Against Sanity fills that gap with a game built on mismatched questions and blunt answers. Players compete to submit the most outrageous response to whatever prompt is on the table, and the table decides who wins.

How a Round Plays Out

One player takes a turn by reading a question or a fill-in-the-blank statement aloud. Everyone else searches their hand for the answer that fits the strangest way. Pairings tend to get more ridiculous as the night goes on, because each group develops its own sense of what counts as funny. The funniest answer wins the round.

Compact Enough to Carry Along

The package measures 4.05 inches in height, 1.85 inches in length, and 3.3 inches in diameter. It weighs about 0.275 pounds, so it slips into a bag without much effort. That makes it easy to bring along when the plan is to play at someone else's place.

What Comes in the Box

Each set includes 96 Insane Questions and 107 Insane Answer cards, which gives the group a large pool of combinations to draw from. An 8-sided die adds an element of chance to play. A rule card explains how turns and judging work, so the group can start without much setup.
