Saffron Flogger

Metal sets the character of this flogger. A polished metal handle carries most of the weight, and forty faux leather falls hang from it, so each strike lands with a dense, heavy thud. The metal also resists wear, which suits a piece that gets handled often.

Weight and Balance in the Handle

The handle is substantial enough that the weight is felt before the falls ever make contact. The falls stay secured at the base, and the handle's heft gives the swing a steady, deliberate pull. Faux leather is soft against the body but still gives a clear impact, which is what the thud depends on.

Grip and Control Through the Finger Loops

Finger loops are built into the handle, so your hand stays anchored while you work the falls. The grip is ergonomically shaped, and the smooth, polished surface resists slipping. Control comes from that anchoring more than from the falls themselves, and the handle's length balances control with reach.

Streamlined Handling in Two Finishes

The standard version has a streamlined design meant to improve handling, with a polished finish that keeps the metal bright. The other version has a saffron-colored polished metal finish, a bold splash of color that makes this flogger easy to spot among other gear.
