Ski Shot

Four Glasses on a Red Ski

Four clear shot glasses. One red board. The glasses fasten directly to the ski, so the whole arrangement moves as a single piece when you pick it up. Each glass takes its own pour of liquor, liqueur, or mixer, so a group can set up several different drinks along the same board.

Clear glasses let everyone see what is in each one before the ski goes up. The red board gives the set a bold, easy-to-spot look on a crowded counter.

Drinking in Waterfall Fashion

The method is the point. Lift the front of the ski above your mouth and let the drinks pour down through the glasses in turn. Skiers have done shots this way at lodges for years, and this set brings that routine into your home.

Because the glasses sit in a line, the timing comes from the tilt of the board rather than from passing glasses around the table. The motion is simple, and it works the same way every time you raise the ski.

Half a Pound You Can Lift

The set weighs 0.5 pounds, light enough to raise with one hand and hold steady above your mouth while the drinks run. That weight is the figure that matters most when you tilt the ski, since the whole job depends on lifting it smoothly.
