Snap Strap Paddle

Overview & Build Quality

Ideal for experienced players who enjoy sharp, precise impact and want one tool that works both ways. It is aimed at advanced enthusiasts who want a sharp, snapping sensation and the option to use one tool as both a paddle and a flogger.

Tantus makes this paddle from its own formula of 100% ultra premium silicone. The material has a smooth, even finish with real give to it, so the strap bends and rebounds rather than landing like a rigid board. That pliable engineering is the whole point of the design. It lets the strap whip through its swing and deliver a crisp snap on contact.

Design Details & Dimensions

At 17.75 inches long and 2 inches wide, the Snap Strap offers generous reach while keeping a narrow striking face. The long, smooth contour runs the full length of the piece, so there are no seams or edges to catch on skin. The slim width focuses each strike into a defined line. The extra length adds leverage and speed at the tip.

• Long, smooth contour from end to end

Hardware & Care

There are no metal fasteners, rivets or separate parts here. The Snap Strap is a single silicone piece, which means nothing to loosen, rust or snap off over time. Fewer components also mean fewer places for grime to collect. For cleaning, the paddle can be boiled or run through the dishwasher, so keeping it fresh between sessions is simple.

Handling & Control

Because the strap flexes, the person wielding it controls intensity largely through wrist speed and swing length. A light flick produces a quick sting. A fuller swing brings more weight and a louder snap. Using it flogger style, with a looser motion, spreads the sensation differently than direct paddle strikes. The smooth silicone surface stays comfortable against skin, and the long shape gives plenty of room to choke up or hold back for precise placement.
