Super Fun Silicone Mold

Made from body-safe silicone, this pink mold turns ice, gelatin, or liquid chocolate into small novelty shapes. The flexible material is the main thing to know about it, since it affects both how pieces release and how the tray handles everyday use.

Filling a Tray of Mini Shapes

The mold is a single tray holding several small shapes, so one batch yields a set rather than one piece. Pour in your liquid, level it off, and set the tray somewhere flat. Ice takes about 30 minutes to freeze in the tray, which gives you a reasonable sense of how long to plan for before you start removing pieces.

Silicone Construction and Release

Silicone is body-safe and flexible, and both qualities matter here. The walls of each cavity give under light pressure, so you can ease a finished piece out without forcing it. Chocolate and gelatin release the same way, and the soft material keeps the small details of each shape intact.

Care is simple: rinse the tray after each use, since silicone does not hold onto residue the way some materials do.

Shape, Color and Weight

The tray is pink throughout and weighs 0.5, which makes it light enough to handle with one hand while filling. Its mini forms are small enough to serve as individual bites or ice pieces, and the silicone keeps the tray stable on a counter or freezer shelf.
