Open fishnet mesh runs the full length of these thigh highs, and the top band is where the construction shows its intent. A silicone-lined lace edge grips the thigh without a garter, and the nylon body stretches across the leg with a pattern that stays open and even.

Silicone-Lined Lace Tops Stay Put

Each top is lined with silicone, so the band holds its position on the leg without clips, straps, or a separate garter. The lace is 90 percent nylon and 10 percent spandex, which gives the top band a finer, more delicate texture than the mesh below it. Because the grip comes entirely from the silicone lining, there is nothing to fasten, tighten, or readjust once the stockings are on.

A back seam runs up the leg, a vintage-style detail that gives the mesh a finished line from ankle to top band.

A Nylon and Spandex Blend Built to Stretch

The fishnet body is 80 percent nylon and 20 percent spandex. That blend gives the knit its stretch and recovery, so the mesh conforms to the leg and returns to shape. The stockings are one size, and the same stretch is what allows them to fit a range of body sizes.
