Andy Cohen has gone public with his relationship after paparazzi photos forced his hand. The Radio Andy host revealed on his show that he's been dating finance executive Kevin Sobieski since last July, when they met at a friend's party in the Hamptons and have been happily together ever since.
How They Met
Cohen said he almost skipped the July 4th party in 2025 where he first saw Sobieski. "I dragged myself out. I never get invited to gay parties in the Hamptons anymore," he explained. Once there, he spotted Sobieski across the room and knew he had to talk to him. "I gotta talk to this guy. Who is this guy?" Cohen recalled. The two talked all night, and Cohen made a memorable move: "I very methodically put my number in his phone," he said, adding that he even checked twice to make sure he'd entered it correctly. Apparently, Sobieski found that attention to detail reassuring.
Building a Life Together
Since that meeting, Cohen and Sobieski have taken a slow, intentional approach to their relationship. "We have been so slow and deliberate, and methodical about getting to know each other, and introducing him to the kids, and just entering him into the equation of my family so slowly," Cohen said on air. The couple hasn't had a single fight or disagreement in their first year together. "This man is kind and strong and smart, and he's an adult, and he loves my children. And they love him," Cohen added. He credited their shared values and outlook on life for how smoothly things have gone. "We just view life the same way, and one year later, I still can't believe I found him."
Going Public
Cohen had planned to wait until their first anniversary on July 4th to announce the relationship on the radio. However, after paparazzi photos showed him and Sobieski dining together in Manhattan last week, he decided to share the news sooner. His producer, Jordan Fazio, said the entire Radio Andy team had known about the relationship for months and was thrilled to see Cohen so happy and excited about his future.
